Teen Ambassador Program

Thanks to a grant from the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority, we are launching a NEW Teen Ambassador Program. We are calling all high school students interested in becoming certified in sustainable gardening! Sign up to participate in our certification program.

Upcoming Session Info: The 5 week TAP course will be offered on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 PM from Tuesday, March 4th until Tuesday, April 1st. All classes must be attended in order to complete the program. Registration closes Tuesday, February 25th.

Some Program Outcomes: 

  • Course completion guarantees a letter of recommendation for college or job applications and a position as a summer camp counselor in July (which is flexible and includes a paid stipend)

  • Learn about farming, gardening, sustainability, leadership, and advocacy 

  • Opportunities to lead a variety of programs with us

  • Counts toward school service requirements
